A Refreshing Twist On The Traditional Bruschetta

This bruschetta ticks off all the right notes for your traditional Italian tomato bruschetta with a southern touch of figs! A fresh, sweet, tangy, garlicky aroma with a fine duo of AKKA's Pomegranate Molasses and Balsamic to harmonize the flavor profiles.

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf sourdough or country loaf

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup figs, quartered

2 tbsp AKKA pomegranate balsamic

1 tbsp AKKA pomegranate molasses

1 bunch leaves (sliced thinly)

Pinch of salt & pepper to taste

PREPARATIONS

Slice your loafs 1cm thick. Start by brushing all top sides of the bread with olive oil and toast in a pan/oven for 5 minutes till golden. Meanwhile, toss all other ingredients in a bowl and mix till incorporated. Scoop your mix on top of your toasted bread and drizzle 1 tbsp of AKKA molasses on top. Serve and enjoy!
